About

As an Advanced Practice Nurse for the STAR (Survivors Taking Action & Responsibility) Program, Ms. Danner-Koptik performs annual comprehensive physical and psychosocial evaluations for all childhood cancer and stem cell transplant survivors, at least one year post transplant. Prior to this role, she was the Advanced Practice Nurse responsible for facilitating the development of the Stem Cell Transplant Program at Children's Memorial Hospital in 1992, and saw acute Stem Cell Transplant patients clinically for over ten years.

Clinical Interests: Hematology and oncology, pediatric stem cell transplantation, late effects of pediatric stem cell transplant survivors
