About
Ms. Curtin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist with experience providing individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Ms. Curtin has experience in medical social work, crisis intervention, and providing training to new clinicians joining a behavioral health crisis response counseling team. She has completed an international internship in Cheltenham, England working in a Trauma Informed Relational School.
In her current role at Lurie Children's, Ms. Curtin provides Behavioral Health consultation and training to primary care physicians at Lurie Children's Pediatrics Deming Clinic. Ms. Curtin uses a population-based care model to monitor and provide follow up to patients receiving an SSRI or stimulant medication at the Pediatrics Deming Clinic. She also sees select patients for brief, solutions focused therapy.
