About

Kerri Baldwin is an advanced practice nurse with more than 18 years of pediatric nursing experience. Working in the Division of General Pediatric Surgery at Lurie Children’s, she specializes in the surgical care and treatment of children with a variety of congenital and acquired conditions with a particular focus on wounds, gastrostomy tubes, ostomies and bowel management.

Ms. Baldwin is part of Lurie Children’s team of advanced practice nurses certified in wound and ostomy care, the largest team in Illinois specifically focused on the care and treatment of pediatric patients. Ms. Baldwin and colleagues use the latest and most advanced wound care techniques and specialize in pain minimizing approaches, which includes reduced number of dressing changes and use of non-adhesive products. 

Ms. Baldwin has a master’s in nursing degree from Rush University, a bachelor’s in nursing degree from Michigan State University and post-graduate training in wound and ostomy care from Metropolitan State University.
