About Me
Valerie graduated with a Master of Science in Medical and Molecular Genetics from Indiana University Medical School in 2019 and was certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) in August of 2019. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Michigan State University in 2016. She started her career here at Lurie Children’s in the Edwards Family Division of Genetics and Rare Diseases in 2019. She provides general pediatric genetic counseling, with an interest and focus on ophthalmology genetics.
