How We Use "Cookies"

"Cookies" are pieces of information that many websites store on your computer's hard drive when you visit them. In most cases, a Web browser will automatically accept cookies. Collecting this information does not allow Lurie Children’s to personally identify you. Users should be able to change browser settings to disable cookies. E-mail Communication

Communication you send to us via email links on our website may be shared with a customer service representative or other staff member who can best address your inquiry. We make every effort to respond in a timely fashion once communications are received. However, messages sent to us via normal e-mail (not encrypted) can be intercepted by another Internet user while the email is in transit to us. Email does not provide a completely secure and confidential means of communication. Please do not send any personal health information via email. It is the policy of Lurie Children's to not accept or communicate protected health information via unencrypted e-mail with our patients and families.
