Concussion diagnoses for Illinois kids are up 83% over 5 years. Dr. Cynthia LaBella, Head of Lurie Children’s Institute of Sports Medicine, comments in Chicago Tribune on this new data released by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois. The data shows a large increase in concussion diagnoses over a five year period.
