Think First (TF)

Think First (TF) is a school-based group intervention that focuses on developing anger management skills. Think First aims to equip students with the social processing and behavioral skills needed to reduce impulsive and reactive aggressive responses to anger. Students in Think First will learn skills such as: strategies for addressing trigger events, understanding physiological responses to anger, connection between thoughts-feelings-behavior, social problem solving, self-calming techniques, attribution retraining, and strategies for managing conflicts. Think First is designed to be used in the high school setting for the 9th through 12th grades. This 2 day training will equip clinicians working in schools to facilitate the Think First program.
