HeartSaver CPR AED
The HeartSaver (HS) CPR AED course teaches the basic techniques of infant, child and adult CPR, including use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Students also learn to use barrier devices in CPR and give first aid for choking. The course teaches how to recognize the signs of 3 major emergencies: heart attack, stroke, and choking.
This class is currently only available to employees and volunteers of Lurie Children’s.
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a HS CPR AED card that is good for two (2) years.
