The Northwestern Pediatric and Adolescent Neurovascular Disease and Stroke Program is a unique partnership of the neurosurgery programs at Northwestern Memorial and Lurie Children’s. The program provides comprehensive treatments and services in all areas of neurovascular care for patients ranging in age from infancy through adulthood.
By combining the talents of the pediatric-trained neurosurgeons at Lurie Children’s with the in-depth experience of the cerebrovascular surgeons at Northwestern Memorial, the program offers high-quality care at all stages of life.

What to Expect
Each child's diagnosis, treatment and follow up take place in an environment designed for children of all ages and their families. The entire hospital staff is focused on making the experience at the hospital and the outpatient centers one that meets the needs of families. Our multidisciplinary care team includes medical professionals, therapists, laboratory technologists, dieticians, child life specialists, social workers, education experts and family support specialists.
Program Director Arthur J. DiPatri, Jr., MD, is Attending Physician, Neurosurgery and Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. DiPatri is board-certified in pediatric neurological surgery and neurological surgery.
