CAMP Training & Publications

The Child’s Doctor is published by Lurie Children’s twice a year for community-based physicians. The journal offers continuing medical education (CME)  through articles authored by the hospital’s physicians. It also includes news articles on research.

Pediatric autnomic medicine articles in the Child's Doctor include:

  • Unraveling the Mystery of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) by Debra E. Weese-Mayer, MD, Published Spring/Summer 2009
  • Research: Piecing together the genetics of SIDS by Vita Lerman, Published Spring/Summer 2009

Peer Review Publications

Debra Weese-Mayer, MD, has also worked with other physicians on various publications about congenital central hypoventilation syndrome (CCHS) and rapid-onset obesity with hypothalamic dysfunction, hypoventilation and autonomic dysregulation (ROHHAD). Below are lists of some of the most important publications about these conditions.
