Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago (formerly Children’s Memorial Hospital) is a 23-story, state-of-the-art hospital located at 225 E. Chicago Ave., connected by a pedestrian bridge to Prentice Women's Hospital and near our affiliated medical school, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. We moved to this new facility in June 2012.

Why Did We Change Our Name?

The new hospital is named in honor of Ann Lurie and her late husband in recognition of her $100 million transformational gift. Her generosity helped us engage patients, families, and a wider community to create a hospital with an innovative and family-centered environment that provides kids with access to the best in pediatric medicine and research – top pediatric specialists, advanced treatments, the latest technologies and evidence-based hospital design.
